Sharon Van Etten is in no mood for slowing down.
New EP 'I Don't Want To Let You Down' will appear on June 8th, with the songwriter also appearing on a new project using the work of Karen Dalton.
A number of artists have been invited to craft new material using lyrics left behind by the cult folk songwriter.
Similar to 'Mermaid Avenue' in its approach, 'Remembering Mountains: Unheard Songs By Karen Dalton' will be released on May 26th.
Sharon Van Etten takes the title track. Singing atop a delicate piano-led arrangement, the moving, engrossing track features some beautifully etched lyrics.
