Disco was always obsessed with heaven, with the idea of sheer bliss. Perhaps that's why those classic disco records still sound so good – each producer, each engineer was literally fixated on a transgressive, heavenly sound.
It's a tough act to follow. Australian group Scenic are preparing to release their new EP 'Shockwaves' on September 13th, a collective of disco grooves with a cosmic twist.
Cologne based producer Roosevelt has stepped in on remix duties, delivering something quite special. Retaining all the glamour of the original, the German artist sets his sights on the stars for the perfect fusion of euphoria and technology.
