Savages are streaming their forthcoming single ‘Flying To Berlin’ – listen to it below.
A London based four piece, Savages have made an enormous impact in a short time. Arguably the most dissected new group in the country, the band’s set at the Shacklewell Arms earlier this week made headlines.
Clash writer Joe Zadeh fought his way through the throng, and came back to the office transfixed by what he had seen. “Managed to catch Savages in a very sweaty yet very well dressed Shacklewell Arms last night. I was blown away. Pure and fresh-faced psych-punk that looks best in black and white. Made me think of Grace Slick fronting The Slits.”
Debut single ‘Flying to Berlin’ bw ‘Husbands’ is set to be released through Pop Noire on May 28th. Stream ‘Flying To Berlin’ below.
