Roo Panes has shared his pensive, introspective new single 'Commentator'.
The songwriter's beautiful 2018 album 'Quiet Man' is set for a deluxe overhaul, replete with unreleased studio cuts and live highlights from his Shepherd's Bush Empire show.
Out on April 26th, it's led by new song 'Commentator', a softly sung, almost fragile effort.
Little more than whispered vocal and guitar, it finds Roo Panes ruminating on loss, and how someone can still remain beside you in spite of the lack of their physical presence.
He explains: “It’s about missing someone’s presence. That voice in your ear. That running commentary and constant that perhaps you once wished away…”
