Pleasure Beach seemed to arrive immaculately fully formed.
The Belfast group's debut EP 'Dreamer To The Dawn' arrived at the tail end of last year, a quite superb piece of dream pop ambience that recalled everyone from Cocteau Twins to The War On Drugs.
New single 'Magic Mountain' finds their undoubted potential continuing to blossom. Adding a measure of grit to their sound, the extra bite simply helps to add further definition to the songwriting.
