Pinch is streaming a new mix ahead of his upcoming FabricLive 61 compilation.
With the mix CD continually under threat, Fabric keep pulling out the stops with high profile instalment after high profile instalment. Bristol scene lynchpin Pinch is the latest to get behind the decks, taking control of the upcoming FabricLive 61 release.
Matching his own productions to some unexpected dub plates, the mix is an often unrelenting experience which starts and ends with the same cut – meaning that the entire experience can be kept on a loop.
Due out on January 16th, Pinch is set to celebrate the unveiling of the compilation with a one off Fabric show. Taking place on January 13th, the Tectonic boss will play a set in Room Two alongside 2562, Peverelist, Om Unit, Distance and Blazey while Loefah will re-visit his DMZ roots with a Foundation set.
Room One is dominated by the ever-relevant Hessle Audio, with a line up which includes the central figures of Pearson Sound and Ben UFO. Hyperdub boss Kode9 lends his support, while Jam City and Kowton will be sure to add some blazing energy.
Last but not least, Manchester’s Hoya:Hoya club night journeys down to London with a line up which includes Lone, John K and sometime LuckyMe associate Eclair Fifi.
So: time for a preview. Watch a video for the upcoming FabricLive 61 compilation below, and then find a new mix from Pinch underneath. In typically self-deprecating style, the producer has named it the ‘Oh No Not Another Dubstep DJ Playing House Music’ mix.
