Peace have posted a lengthy sampler ahead of their debut album 'In Love'.
Birmingham is exploding…
B-Town is the centre of a new hype, a new wave of bands with a distinct, style, sound, identity. Peace are the first to complete their debut album, with 'In Love' set to be released on Monday (March 25th).
ClashMusic writer Simon Butcher is clearly enamored with the band. "With ‘In Love’ Peace aren’t reinventing what a band can be, but taking it back to basics and reminding us why they’re important: ‘Toxic’ fuses melancholic verses with a raw grunge chorus Tribes would kill for. ‘Waste Of Paint’ is a baggy ‘Fools Gold’ style song set for sticky indie dance-floors, and ‘California Daze’ is a ’60s flower power flag waving closer. It’s exceptional stuff."
Ahead of this, though, Peace have posted a quick album sampler online. Containing some precious new music, you can stream the clip below.
