Paolo Nutini has always expressed a fondness, a passion for vintage funk and soul.
Yet the Paisley lad has rarely gone as far in this devotion as his new track. Premiered on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show last night (January 27th) 'Scream (Funk My Life Up)' is a low down dirty piece of funk which nods towards the Southern grit of Muscle Shoals or The Meters.
All about the groove, Paolo Nutini is backed by a full horn section while the Scottish singer puts in one of his gutsiest performances.
