NZCA Lines has shared new track 'Two Hearts' – check it out now.
A gifted producer and songwriter, Michael Lovett seemed content to linger in the background after the release of NZCA Lines' debut album.
A few weeks ago, though, the project stirred into life. New album ''Infinite Summer' will arrive on January 22nd, with fresh cut 'Two Hearts' arriving online a few moments ago.
Crisp, sci-fi influenced synth pop, the gossamer vocal is matched to some slinky, clinical production. A superb taster for the new album, it closely matches the science fiction themes of 'Infinite Summer'.
Michael Lovett explains: "The album is based around the idea of a far-future Earth, where the sun has expanded to the size of a red giant and our extinction is imminent. Half of the world is covered by a city [Cairo-Athens] that clings to the past and embraces its destruction, whilst the other half is trying to rebuild, create and make something new. Yet, it's good on both sides because it's warm everywhere and people just party most of the time."
