Death Grips are streaming a new cut, seemingly taken from one of two studio albums in the pipeline.
A Sacramento collective, Death Grips plunged into a well of darkness with their debut album ‘Ex-Military’. Released online last year, the free mixtape spliced together a dense tapestry of samples which moved from crunching Industrial noises to (early) Pink Floyd.
Playing a handful of stunning British shows, the collective are apparently working on new material. Death Grips’ Facebook account recently pointed fans to a new track, with the following message attached: “we’re releasing two full length albums this year world-wide .. first one drops in April”.

Meanwhile, Death Grips’ live show will return to Europe later this year. The collective are set to perform at Primavera, hopefully with their Zach Hill indebted live rhythm section.
With their shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow lingering in the memory that flight to Spain is looking more and more tempting with each passing day…
Death Grips will play Primavera on June 1st, before flying out to the UK for a previously announced slot at Field Day.
