With suspense around their EP mounting, Nature TV have released their debut single ‘She Wants To See You Cry’.
The Brighton band are Heist and Hit's newest treasure. Mellow acoustics accompanied with deep strong vocals make it the perfect heartbreak remedy which seemed to be what inspired frontman Guy Bangham himself.
Commenting recently, he said that the track was made after him overthinking things and playing out conversations by himself, running through previous scenarios and then feeling paranoid about it all before trying to rationalise it. From wallowing at the beach to sitting in your room reminiscing of better days, it's what this song pleads you to do.
“Nobody is better than you, I know because I told you so, repeat it until it is true” is a deeply sarcastic comment that wouldn’t be misplaced in a Mac de Marco set.
The dreamy four piece could be a nice addition to other mild psychedelic-pop artists like Rex Orange County, Peach Pit, Planet, etc. Catch them on tour this month supporting doo-woppers Trudy and the Romance.
