Muse have posted new dubstep influenced track ‘Unsustainable’ online – listen to it below.
The astonishing growth of EDM in the United States has been one of the year’s main talking points. Capable of drawing enormous crowds, the genre has also produced a wealthy volume of criticism.
So Muse’ decision to take on board the influence of Skrillex is both a timely and controversial one. New album ‘The 2nd Law’ will boast plenty of bass belches, with the band posting a new cut online last night.
‘Unsustainable’ is all wailing guitars, dramatic vocals and pounding drums – standard Muse, really, until they slap an enormous, cliff-face drop right in the middle.
