Mount Kimbie and King Krule dropped past Gilles Peterson's 6Music show to record an intimate live session – listen to it below.
Two probing, inventive talents, Mount Kimbie and King Krule are unusual yet apt bedfellows. The Lewisham vocalist worked with the post-dubstep pairing on new album 'Cold Spring Fault Less Youth' and his contributions rank amongst the LP's true highlights.
Since then, King Krule's own debut '6 Feet Beneath The Moon' has dropped, with the London vocalist gaining across the board acclaim (find the Clash review HERE). Invited to record an intimate session by Gilles Peterson for his 6Music show, Mount Kimbie and King Krule were only too happy to oblige.
It's a deft, flexible performance, with Archy Marshall's vocals being particularly impressive.
