American post-punk group Mission Of Burma have unveiled new cut ‘Dust Devil’ taken from their upcoming album ‘Unsound’.
With their initial run of albums, Mission of Burma supplied the American punk scene with enough ideas to fire it for a decade. Still sounding fresh, the band’s reformation has managed to live up to the unpredictable, inspiring nature of their first incarnation.
Heading back into the studio last year, the band are now stirring into life. Two shows in Boston earlier this year showcased fresh material, with Mission Of Burma due to release their new album this summer.
Fire Records will release ‘Unsound’ on July 9th, the band’s first album since ‘The Sound The Speed The Light’ in 2009. A band who shift in style and approach from song to song, Mission Of Burma have also delivered a short teaser.
