Hailing from the North East, Martha are part of a rising wave of DIY activity in the area.
Recently sitting down with producer du jour MJ (of Hookworms’ fame) the band released debut album ‘Courting Strong’ at the tail end of last year.
Fizzing with energy and ideas, new single ‘Sleeping Beauty’ has been drawn from said LP. Out in January, it’s accompanied by a fresh mixtape lovingly compiled by the band themselves.
Featuring tracks from the likes of Trust Fund interspersed with some fresh treats from Martha, you can check it out below.
