Well, he has to. The sound of jet engines isn’t allowed to intrude upon his productions, with Lxury already earning attention from Greco-Roman.
Utilising some odd yet effective samples – ‘Raid’ nabbed from Greek guitar, for example – new cut ‘Let Down’ is a blistering return.
Made available through the good grace of Annie Mac, ‘Let Down’ is reminiscent of Gold Panda’s more house-led moments, with pounding piano set against vocal samples which twist and turn in unexpected directions.
