Richy Ahmed is giving away a house-styled Lana Del Rey re-work.
What is it about Lana Del Rey which makes her such an effective house diva? The American artist's studio recordings are languid, dramatic and melancholic, steeped in a retro glamour.
However her releases have become prime material for underground producers. 'Video Games' was ably remixed by Joy Orbison, and now Richy Ahmned is stepping in for a summer special.
The producer is set to play Paradise at DC10 in Ibiza this year, and to celebrate he's giving away a new remix. Tackling 'Summertime Sadness' the producer chops up Lana Del Rey's vocal, flushing the track with house tones in the process.
