A new track featuring Kraftwerk co-founder Florian Schneider has appeared online.
The producer recently went into the studio alongside Dan Lacksman (Telex) to work on a new track. 'Stop Plastic Pollution' has now been placed online and it's part of the Parley For The Oceans campaign that aims to be a “space for creators, leaders and thinkers to come together to raise awareness for the beauty and fragility of our oceans and collaborate on projects that can end their destruction.”
With its hushed, repetitive vocals and bleeping synths 'Stop Plastic Pollution' immediately recalls Schneider's work with Kraftwerk. There's a minimal edge, while repeated phrases such as "Save the fish…" state the message loud and clear.
