Kodaline have handed an acoustic version of 'Love Like This' exclusively to ClashMusic.
Kodaline are soft at heart. Sure, they might be a bunch of indie tearaways, but the Irish newcomers are capable of perfecting moments of poignancy, moments of rare emotion which will steal away your breath and bring a tear to your eye.
Touring across the country and beyond, the band have ripped through 2013 with a palpable sense of ambition. Seemingly to grow bigger with each show, Kodaline recently unleashed their new single 'Love Like This'.
Already an anthem in its live setting, the band recently decided to lay down an acoustic rendition. Focussing on a chord sequence gently rendered on piano, it features Steve Garrigan's voice softly intoning those romantic lyrics.
It's all helplessly romantic, with Kodaline wearing their heart on their sleeve. Perhaps it's the piano, perhaps it's the arrangement but classic love songs by Paul McCartney and Neil Young run through our mind when listening to this…
