Largely responsible for helping Bristol re-discover its love of house music, Julio Bashmore's journey from underground talent to serious pop player has been remarkable.
The producer's debut album is slated to appear in early 2015, with new single 'Rhythm Of Auld' set to be released before the year is out.
A collaboration with J'Danna, it's a soulful slice of house with some 80s machine funk overtones. Think Cameo let loose in Frankie Knuckles' synth collection, all topped off with a pleading, near gospel vocal.
