Scottish pop music is a complex beast.
For some, it means simply adorning an American accent and carrying on as usual. For others, it's a slightly more delicate affair.
Jonnie Common makes music which is both very pop and very Scottish. Deeply eccentric, his fusion of electro-pop production, folk tones and Caledonian accents has made him a cult flavour.
New album 'Trapped In Amber' will be released on Hallowe'en through the good people at Song, By Toad. Ahead of this, new cut 'Crumbs' has made its way online, and it's a wee belter.
Packed with idiosyncrasies, humorous asides and oddball moments, it's pop as only a Scottish artist could make.
