JAWS have shared their brooding, amorphous new song 'FEAR' – tune in now.
The band's new album 'The Ceiling' arrives on April 5th, following sessions alongside producer Gethin Pearson.
It's billed as something unexpected from the group, with initial previews demonstrating an admirable collection of fresh ideas.
New song 'FEAR' is online now, and it's dark, brooding atmosphere is matched to some amorphous musicality, fusing glacial guitar lines with flecks of electronica.
Seemingly a "wake up call" during sessions for the new album, "it opened the door to write the rest of the record".
JAWS explain…
'FEAR' really pushed us out of our comfort zone in the best way possible. It was sort of the wake up call that we could take this record in any direction we want and still be confident with it. I think it might be my favourite song that we've ever put together, not only musically but for how it opened the door to write the rest of the record. The song is about fight or flight, trying to live via love rather than fear."
Tune in now.
