Jamie xx has crafted a special mix for Red Bull Music Academy ahead of The xx' Night + Day show.
Tiring of playing conventional tours, The xx decided to try something new. Night + Day allows the band to host a series of one off shows, working alongside a series of handpicked guests.
Returning to the UK this weekend, the band will take Night + Day to rural Hertfordshire on Saturday (June 22nd). Ahead of this, Red Bull Music Academy are streaming a recent mix from Jamie xx.
Recorded at the previous Night + Day event in Berlin, it's a deft mix of house, techno and bass vibrations with plenty of curveballs and guilty pleasures along the way.
