James Holden has posted new track 'Renata' online – the latest preview from upcoming album 'The Inheritors'.
A pioneering, individual voice in the world of techno, news that James Holden has completed a fresh studio album sparked a wave of excitement earlier this year.
'The Inheritors' is set to be released this summer, and – if early previews are anything to go by – it could well rank as something quite special.
New single 'Renata' is a case in point. Bubbling along with sprung rhythms and oscillating synths, it's a fluid, open ended effort from the English producer.

Out on June 10th, 'Renata' will boast remixes from Daphni – who seemingly adds a UK Garage beat and distorted vocals – as well as Steve Moore from Zombi.
'The Inheritors' is set to be released on June 17th.
