James Bay's meteoric success only seems to underline this. New EP 'Let It Go' drops on May 13th, with the songwriter unveiling his lead track last week.
Now new cut 'Running' has emerged online. It's certainly gilded stuff – there's an Americana lilt to Bay's music, one matched to a very English sense of folk.
More than this, though, what really impresses is the performance. James Bay seems to live each note, giving 'Running' a rare intimacy.
