Japanese vocalist Hatis Noit has shared powerful, completely unique new song 'Illogical Lullaby'.
The self-taught musician echoes the sounds of nature using only her voice, with each composition building up into an extravagantly delicate multi-layered gem.
Hatis Noit – the name refers to the stem of the lotus flower – has a sound that is both fragrantly beautiful and imposing, the sheer vivid nature of her composition startling in its execution.
She explains…
"The human voice is our oldest, most primal yet most powerful instrument. I use it to describe nature’s many sounds, a language that isn’t logical. Yet it forms a beautiful conversation that isn’t restricted to words like the human language is. I want my music to remind us of that."
New EP 'Illogical Dance' arrives on March 23rd via Erased Tapes, with Hatis Noit sharing wonderful introductory piece 'Illogical Lullaby'.
