Listen: Glass Animals – Gooey

Oxford experimentalists return...

Oxford's music scene seems to welcome invention, to encourage modes of thinking which sit outside the norm.

Glass Animals are almost the perfect example of this. Working slowly, methodically at their base The Shed, the band's material to date can't be pinned down into any one pigeonhole.

Fluid electronics matched to cerebral indie songcraft, Glass Animals recently kicked off a partnership with award winning producer Paul Epworth.

'Gooey' is the first track to emerge from these sessions. Loose of limb, drenched in reverb, it finds Glass Animals entering exciting new realms.
