The London newcomers caused quite a stir with debut single 'Trouble', and aim to repeat the feat with their next release.
Out now via Moshi Moshi, 'Stupid Things' adds tinkling piano to Girl Ray's aural confection, with those adorable vocals intoning some bittersweet lyrics.
Poppy Hankin explains: “It’s about crushing really hard on someone, and finding myself doing fucking ridiculous things to feel like we've got some kind of connection. Watching films that they mentioned fleetingly or ordering their favourite drink at a bar. Very stupid but happens every single time, ha ha”.
