Ghostpoet is set to release new album 'Dark Days & Canapés' on August 18th.
The Mercury nominated artist went back into the studio last year, eager to take his music in fresh directions.
Largely eschewing the electronics of his previous work, sessions with Leo Abrahams took on a more guitar-centric viewpoint.
New album 'Dark Days & Canapés' is the result. Out this summer, he comments that “there’s a sort of life-force that Leo and the other musicians brought to this record, and that was crucial. I want people to listen to the songs and be able to say, ‘So Isn’t just me then? Phew.”
New cut 'Trouble + Me' is online now, with the solemn guitar chords adding fresh darkness to Ghostpoet's introverted lyricism.
