Gang Colours is streaming new track ‘Botley In Bloom’ taken from upcoming debut LP ‘The Keychain Collections’.
Real name Will Ozanne, Gang Colours started gaining attention last year. Debut EP ‘In Your Gut Like A Knife’ was a startling mixture of Garage beats, bass textures, ferocious noise and soulful vocals.
Since then, the producer’s every step has been stalked by faithful fans. Working on his debut album, Brownswood are set to take care of forthcoming LP ‘The Keychain Collection’.
Previews are few and far between, although Gang Colours has sneaked out a sample cut. Taken from his upcoming album, ‘Botley In Bloom’ seems to sit somewhere between jazz and 2-Step Garage – filtered through a post-dubstep landscape, of course.

A sample quote: “Garage had a dance element and it had the emotion, the evocative side. And that ticked my boxes. But the groove of garage, and the tempo – those are characteristics that were really inspiring. The Streets’ ‘Original Pirate Material’ – just that track alone, especially the use of piano, really inspired me to make something different that could have a profound impact on someone.”
Gang Colours is set to release ‘The Keychain Collection’ on February 27th.
