Epic sax solo alert...

Paul Dixon isn't one to be rushed.

Previously making music under the name David's Lyre, an unsuccessful brush with the major label system left the songwriter feeling stung.

Re-inventing himself as Fyfe, the London based artist is busy relaxing into his debut album. New cut 'For You' has appeared online, blending his mature songcraft to R&B textures and even a sax solo.

"I just thought it would sound bloody great!" exclaims Dixon. "There’s a lyrical emotiveness to Jazz which doesn’t require vocals or lyrics. It’s a guy called David Turay from The Hics on sax, and to me that solo says so much about the euphoric nature of love."

Out on June 23rd, you can listen to 'For You' below:

Fyfe has confirmed the following live dates:

8 Brighton The Great Escape
23 Manchester Dot To Dot
24 Bristol Dot To Dot
25 Nottingham Dot To Dot
29 London Scala w/ Josh Record
