Flying Lotus has posted a rough draft remix of Frank Ocean’s ‘Thinkin’ Bout You’.
Frank Ocean’s work naturally lends itself to the remix process. The songwriter’s work sits in a classic R&B lineage, with his voice sitting at the dead centre of everything he puts his name to.
Over the weekend, Flying Lotus revealed that he had been asked to remix Frank Ocean. Later, the producer posted a clip containing a rough draft take on ‘Channel Orange’ cut ‘Thinkin’ Bout You’.
Re-tooled as ‘Binge Eating Without You’ the producer explained: “since i know ill never finish it..ill just post this ruff draft.”
