So long Plastic People, and thanks for all the memories.
The London club’s Shoreditch location fostered careers, provided a space for creativity. With everything from dubstep to PC Music owing a debt, platitudes and mourning weren’t difficult to come by when Plastic People decided to shut its doors for the last time.
A final party took place at the weekend, with some close friends getting behind the decks. Floating Points and Four Tet were present, recording their sets for posterity.
