A provocative, inquisitive pop talent, the rise of FKA twigs has thrust the UK artist firmly into the spotlight.
Romantically linked to Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson, the singer appeared to give credence to this rumour with a cryptic Radio 1 Live Lounge session.
Deciding to cover Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me', FKA twigs mused on the importance of the lyrics. "I'm covering Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me'. … There was one line which basically alludes to saying, 'I'm not in love with you and maybe this isn't a serious thing, but it's perfect for right now and it's what I need emotionally right now,' and maybe that's just something that I have related to."
Alongside this, FKA twigs also performed new single 'Two Weeks'. The track is stripped from her debut album, which drew some rather exuberant praise from Clash – check out the review HERE.
