Bristol newcomers Empty Pools have confirmed details of debut album 'Saturn Reruns'.
Bristol's incredibly fertile dance scene comes with its drawbacks. Despite boasting a heritage which includes both The Pop Group and Sarah Records, the city's guitar scene often goes neglected, unrecognised in favour of its flashier, electronic-hued cousin.
Rather quiet of late, Bristol's guitar scene is set to receive an almighty jolt. Empty Pools share the same open-minded approach which fuelled the post-punk era, with their spiky, jagged rhythms matched by a tattered, frayed aesthetic borrowed from the outer extremities of grunge.
Debut album 'Saturn Reruns' – named in honour of an obscure astrological pattern – will be released on November 4th, via Battle Worldwide.
