Listen: Eels ‘Tomorrow Morning’ Album

New album streaming on MySpace

American alt rock dons Eels are streaming their new album ‘Tomorrow Morning’ in full on their MySpace page.

Mark ‘E’ Everett is simply one of the most accomplished songwriters of his generation. With an almost unique voice, Eels are capable of moving from the harshest of sarcasm to the most tender of love songs.

Embarking on ambitious trilogy, E sought to explore lust, loss and redemption. Coming on the back of his highly praised autobiography, the project stretched the singer and his group to the limit.

Over the course of ‘Hombre Lobo’ and ‘End Times’ Eels moved from rabid garage rock to stark acoustic led material. Now E intends to complete the series with the lush, uplifting ‘Tomorrow Morning’.

Moving from rock crunch to gospel choirs, ‘Tomorrow Morning’ is one of the band’s most wide-ranging efforts yet. A stunning artistic success, ClashMusic tracked down E to discuss the new album.

Now Eels have decided to preview the album by streaming it in full on their MySpace page. The album is available to stream right now, with the band fresh from performing at the V Festival over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Eels are set to play a one off show at London’s Brixton Academy on September 1st. The show is part of their ongoing world tour, and sees the band perform the trilogy for the first time.

With plenty of surprises expected, it also marks the first time E has returned to London since police mistook him for a terrorist. Wandering outside a foreign embassy, the singer was questioned as to his intentions.

Understandably upset, expect a ferocious show from Eels. Details:
