Easy Life do things a bit differently.

One of the real hype bands at this year's SXSW, they've immediately followed this by surprising - surprise! - fans with a new mixtape.

The six track drop 'Spaceships' is completely addictive, but if anything it simply serves to muddy the waters still further.

Moving from velvet R&B to crunching indie with more than a few nods towards Dilla, 'Spaceships' feels like it has emerged from its own dimension.

At one point frontman Murray sings “I fall short of who I claim to be / surely there’s someone better than me...” but you're left with the impression he's in a league of his own.
