Dylan Cartlidge have shared off piste new track 'Scratch, Sniff'.
The newcomer is based in the Northern town of Redcar, a place suitably far away from anything loosely termed as a 'scene'.
Free to develop his own sound, Dylan's rough-hewn indie soul treatment dives into unexplored arenas, continually seeking out new influence.
'Scratch, Sniff' is driven by that incessant bass line, the stuttering, half-chanted vocals recalling those early Jamie T cuts.
There's a boldness in the songwriting, however, that is all Dylan's own – the sound of a talent coming into focus.
Tune in now.
