Hosted by Brazil, the tournament has been accompanied with all manner of cultural ephemera, including no shortage of new music.
Famed for his globe-trotting adventures, Diplo hosted an hour long World Cup themed mix on Mistajam's 1Xtra show last night (June 12th).
It's a typically diverse selection, matching Latin rhythms against a number of remixes with the likes of Kanye West's 'Black Skinhead' and Black Keys' Howlin For You' getting re-worked.
