"Life’s a kingdom - what the f**k is fair play?"

Deema drops new single ‘RAT RACE’ - tune in now.

The track sees the 20-year old Londoner share existential wisdom and frustration. 'RAT RACE' is part of his debut seven-track EP ‘Chew Your Food’ that will come out June 29th via Different Recordings.

Deema’s assertive, versatile flows carry the kind of energy needed at this very moment in time. Staring at screens, confronted by a crisis, he ready to remind us - "life’s a kingdom - what the f**k is fair play?"

His roots start with Lewisham collective ‘The Square’, which saw crossover success from the likes of Novelist. Amerie-sampling ‘Golden Boy’ saw Square member Elf-Kid put out one of the most innovative grime tracks of 2015, with a 16 year-old Deema by his side as his hype man.

Years on, he has placed himself firmly at the helm of UK grime’s most vibrant, socially-conscious artists, along with a Balamii radio show dedicated to showcasing more of the same. The whole EP has been produced ‘as one vision’ with Square affiliate Dom Valentino.

Listen to it now.
