From their name to their shimmering, entrancing music – Cloud Castle Lake seem to imbue a certain aesthetic, a certain beauty.
Debut EP 'Dandelion' was a marvellous introduction, betraying the confidence of a young group who simply want to reach uncharted waters.
New single 'Glacier' will be released on March 16th via Happy Valley Records and it's a simply stunning return.
From those initial falsetto gasps to the rippling, rolling percussion, it's an exercise in power and restraint. The towering vocal performance is worthy of filing next to Sigur Ros, while the emotive, near classical piano lines recall the Erased Tapes catalogue.
