Raised by two classical musicians, C Duncan – his given name is Christopher – always knew that he would be drawn down that path.
Yet he still yearned to try something new. Absorbing indie, folk and more, the Glaswegian musician developed a vast palette of sounds.
Signed to Fat Cat Records, debut single 'For' is set to be released on November 24th. There's a soft poetry to the arrangement, a delicate use of space which suggests much more than is actually there.
Shades of wyrd folk pioneers such as Vashti Bunyan and Mark Fry abound, with C Duncan's own voice almost trailing off into the distance.
