Big Sean has shared new track 'Control' – featuring verses from Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica.
The enormous hype surrounding Kendrick Lamar has led to a minor backlash. Sure, 'Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City' might well rank as something of a modern classic, but with only two studio albums under his belt the Compton prodigy still has it all to prove.
Big Sean stopped past Hot 97 last night (August 12th) for a quick update on his latest studio ventures. Taking a new cut with him, 'Control' boasts production which flips those funky, Golden Age beats on their head.
Jay Electronica stops by for a guest verse, but Kendrick Lamar simply steals the show. An effortless co-star, the rapper's contribution has caused an immediate stir with the West Coast artist proclaiming himself to be the "King of New York".
