Beady Eye have unveiled their new single 'Second Bite Of The Apple'.
Could Beady Eye pull it off? Liam Gallagher's post-Oasis venture went into the studio last year with producer Dave Sitek, vowing to attempt something different.
New track 'Flick Of The Finger' seemed to demonstrate a visceral new energy, backed by a euphoric, grandiose horn arrangement.
Last night (April 29th) the band delivered another surprise, making an appearance on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show. Chatting to the host, Liam Gallagher & Co. decided to unveil their new single.
'Second Bite Of The Apple' opens with rolling drums, a curiously playful stop-start rhythm. Building and building, it's catchy, singalong nature is matched to an arrangement which is as powerful as it is sparse.
Out on April 30th (today!) you can listen to 'Second Bite Of The Apple' below.
