Listen: Babyshambles – Farmer’s Daughter

Taken from their new album...

Babyshambles have posted new track 'Farmer's Daughter' online – listen to it now.

Once thought lost, Babyshambles' return is one of 2013's more curious musical episodes. Returning to the studio for their first album in over five years, the band vowed to bounce back and recover the energy of those early years.

New album 'Sequel To The Prequel' is set to be released on September 2nd, with sessions taking place at Question Du Son, Paris and mixed in The Bunker, London.

Stephen Street is at the controls, with the first sign of new material set to emerge next month. Upcoming single 'Nothing Comes To Nothing' drops on August 26th, but for now you can feast on album cut 'Farmer's Daughter'.

The production is crisp, with Pete Doherty's voice rarely sounding as strong. Sure, Babyshambles will always divide opinion but – for fans, at least – these are exciting times.

'Sequel To The Prequel' is set to be released on September 2nd.
