Sweeping, ambitious stuff...
Arthur Beatrice

Arthur Beatrice have posted new track 'Carter (Cut)' - check it out below.

It's a little difficult to maintain a sense of mystery these days. The intrusion of the internet into daily life means that anyone, anywhere can be found, recorded, dissected.

So how come we know so little about Arthur Beatrice? The band first emerged in 2011, before clearly deciding that a little more work was needed. New EP 'Carter' is the result. Out shortly, lead track 'Carter (Cut)' will be available as a free download from June 9th.

Produced by Arthur Beatrice, the track was engineered by Bryan Wilson at No. 1 Baltic Place before being mixed by Lexxx. It's clear that the break has only served to fuelled the sense of grandeur running through the band.

There are similarities to Wild Beasts - if only for the wide, open spaces in their music - while Arthur Beatrice allow that carefully fostered sense of mystery to wrap around their songwriting like a dark sea mist.
