Some bright spark – The 83rd, in fact – has decided to mash together Angel Haze and Jamie xx.
Mash ups! There are plenty of 'em about, and most are fairly spurious, truth be told. Once in a while, though, a producer will slam together two tracks, revealing some quite unexpected in both.
The 83rd recently hooked up with Angel Haze, producing her cut 'New York'. Not quite content with that, the beatsmith then bolted its chassis on the Jamie xx / Gil Scott Heron track 'New York Is Killing Me' to produce something pretty special.
