Lindstrom Confirms New Solo Album

'Six Cups Of Rebel' due on February 6th

Lindstrom is set to release his new solo album ‘Six Cups Of Rebel’ on February 6th.

A Norwegian producer, Hans-Peter Lindstrom is perhaps better known for his collaboration. The icy cool music which resulted from a partnership with Prins Thomas reached critical acclaim, while the producer recently worked with Christabelle on a new project.

However fans still hanker after Lindstrom’s solo output. 2008’s ‘Where You Go I Go Too’ was a fantastic mixture of production and composition, with the Norwegian artist stretching out on some lengthy material.

Now Lindstrom is set to unveil a new solo album. ‘Six Cups Of Rebel’ is the first full length to come out under his own name in three years, with Smalltown Supersound set to release the album on February 6th.

Apparently inspired by disco and sci fi, ‘Six Cups Of Rebel’ doffs its cap to prog while also displaying a real Acid House touch. Typically varied, Lindstrom refuses to be hemmed in by his own burgeoning reputation.

Smalltown Supersound have confirmed the full tracklisting of ‘Six Cups Of Rebel’ with the label also deciding to give away a quick taster.

‘De Javu’ has a real, driving Acid feel with the bubbling bass lines carrying a nod to Phuture. However the track’s expansive feel and tribal drums push it into a sparkling new area – stream / download the cut below…
