Lindstrom Album Details

Prins Thomas collaboration due

Celebrated Norwegian producer Lindstrom is to continue his collaboration with Prins Thomas on the forthcoming album ‘It’.

Hans-Peter Lindstrom is one of Scandinavia’s most prominent producers. The electronic guru blends icy synths with a knowledge of classical music to produce something that is layered, complex and still emotionally involving.

Last year’s album ‘Where You Go It Go Too’ was released on Smalltown Supersound to great reviews. The record found Lindstrom stretching out, with one track last for almost thirty minutes. Taking on techno and Krautrock influences, the album was a spectacular artistic success.

The producer has frequently worked with Prins Thomas. The pair released their self-titled debut album in 2005, to much acclaim. Since then the two producers have worked on numerous twelve inches, as well as the remix album ‘Reinterpretations’.

The duo’s mixture of dancefloor elements with almost ambient passages have made Lindstrom and Prins Thomas a celebrated partnership. Like Studio 54 blasted into outer space, the partnership has been silent for too long.

It seems that the twin talents are set to re-unite, with ‘It’ due for release in May. Available on quadruple vinyl, the album will be trailed by teaser single “Tirsdagjam” – which won’t actually be appearing on the record.

Lindstrom and Prins Thomas are due to release their new album ‘It’ on May 26th. Tracklisting is as follows:

01 Cisco
02 Rothaus
03 For Ett Slikk Og Ingenting
04 Rett Paa
05 Skal Vi Proeve Naa?
06 Gudene Vet + Snutt
07 Note I Love You + 100
08 Flue Paa Veggen
