Lil Silva, Shy One Hit Red Bull Selector Stage At Notting Hill Carnival

With a packed out afternoon of music...

Red Bull Selector hit Notting Hill Carnival over the weekend.

Carnival brings out the best in London, a celebration of Black Caribbean culture that never fails to feel incredibly welcoming. In amongst a plethora of sound systems permeating the streets of West London, Red Bull Selector took hold at Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park, a historic site in carnival history.

A full day of music was planned, moving from R&B to UK garage via dancehall and beyond. CLASH favourite Alicaì Harley lit up the stage, while Izzy Bossy got the crowd moving; UKG legends Heartless Crew are a seminal name in club culture, and they more than lived up to their billing.

Jordss B2B p-rallel saw two pivotal DJs connect, while dancehall legend Cham took carnival back to basics.

Two key UK talents headlined – CLASH cover star Lil Silva warmed the limbs of the carnival crowd, followed by the one and only Shy One.
